Director of Project Management, Principal Consultant, and Meteorologist & Employee Owner
What He’s Passionate About
Navigating through a complex journey of milestones, deliverables, risks, issues, and realities of consulting. (He also loves storms and keeping TiER1ers informed about the weather.)
His Experience
Terry has 15+ years of experience as a project manager, team manager, solution developer, sales assistant, page developer, and university instructor. His experience includes analysis, design, development, implementation, maintenance, and quality assurance, to name a few. And he’s worked in a gamut of industries including paper, insurance, chemical, medical, manufacturing, automotive, technology, legal, telecommunications, advertising, education, and government. He most enjoys learning solutions and strategies, web based training, project management, and quality assurance.
How He Makes a Difference
Terry’s positive impact doesn’t end at work. He volunteers with Sts. John and Paul Parish, Boy Scouts Troop 935, and the First Lego League (STEM/Robotics).
An Unlikely Path
Terry was first connected to TiER1 through Norm, one of our founders, while Norm consulted for Terry at Fox19 in Cincinnati. After the Y2K flop, Norm facilitated Terry’s hiring as a project manager and web-based training developer at AFKelly.
Family Love
Terry has been married to his wife and best-friend, Michelle, for the past 18 years. Together they have three amazing and surprisingly different boys. Terry credits Gary Chapman’s The Five Love Languages for redefining his marriage and life.
Fun Fact
After four years of tornado chasing in the Great Plains, Terry had a tornado come within a few miles of him in Miami, Florida – a real-life Twister movie here.
